Web 2.0 is social networking. It is a new generation of internet based applications that allow for maximum interactivity.
Long before the advent of the internet, Mozilla, Napster, and MySpace, Christ mandated this kind of interactivity. His heart for us is community. Church 2.0 is a response to cultural and technological innovations that promotes authentic, Christ-centered interactivty as the ideal for our community of faith.
Church 2.0 is not about technology as much as it is about Martin Luther's 95 Theses nailed to the door of the Castle Church in Wittenberg. It is about the priesthood of all believers-all having something to share-total access-interactivity with God and one another.
So, what say you? What are the challenges of Life Pointe Church 2.0? What are some of the hangups of a church with few borders and total access? Or, is that even possible?
