Tonight, we kick off a summer message series for emerging leaders at Life Pointe and I'm not there...kind of a weird feeling. While I'm here in Orlando, Paul and Jesse are leading this service. I can't wait to see the video.
In the meantime, I'm enjoying my 3 girls (and the player to be named later). We hit Disney tomorrow for McKenna's birthday. The girls are super excited and I'm kind of second guessing my decision to bring the single stroller. Oh well.
I'll be back in the office sometime on Friday to hook up with Paul to get our bearings. I'm glad to be here, especially knowing that our team is even stronger than before and can function well without me.
You missed a fantastic kick-off to Nehemiah. Paul (a) showed up on-time despite dealing with the worst of South Florida's rush hour traffic, and (b) was on his mark with this topic. He led a spirited discussion on this cool dude named Nehemiah, and he put everything into perspective with us.
Nehemiah saw devasting problems galore with his hometown, and he basically said that he was going to fix it and that nobody could stop him from doing so. I like that guy !
Paul also promised to (c) blog more on his blog instead of the recent 'novella every two weeks concept'. I'll believe it when I see it. (Just kidding Paul.)
Paul is an excellent addition to the Life Pointe family. I can't wait to see what he has up his sleeve for next Wednesday night !
Have a safe trip back to Homestead in a couple of days !
