Football Season Cometh

Football season is around the corner.  That means Saturdays at the Orange Bowl and fantasy football.  I totally dominated both of my leagues last year and plan to do the same thing this year.  Too bad there is no "man bag owners' league" or a Life Pointe league.  I enjoy talking trash in both of those venues.

Antrel Rolle vs. Larry Johnson

When Antrel Rolle (AZ Cards), Marcus Hudson (SF 49ers), and Jarvis Johnson (Rutgers) played on my little brother's YMCA 15-17 year old basketball team and won the championship game, I was excited.  When Antrel dominated offenses at UM, it was a thing of beauty.  When he was drafted 9th overall, it was great to see another brilliant athlete from Homestead step into the NFL.  When he chased Larry Johnson down from the other side of the field after an 86 yard reception, I was shouting with joy until I realized that he face masked my #1 Fantasy Football RB and may have put him out of my lineup for this week.  OUCH!

Antrel is the man.  I just wish that someone like Ladanian Tomlinson had been on the receiving end of Antrel's TD saving pursuit.

The Good News and the Bad News

The Bad News: Miami lost last night.  Our Defense was suffocating against FSU.  But, we blew it and it hurts.  I reall hate losses like this...took me 45 minutes to fall asleep last night.  Matt from Bevo Sports and Robert, do I have to eat my hat or something? (reference painful post here)

The Good News: I got Larry Johnson with the 2nd overall pick in my Fantasy Football League.  I'll post my team later.
